Job summary

A global toy manufacturing company is seeking a Process Engineer for their Die Casting Department in Seberang Perai, Malaysia. This role involves developing and maintaining die casting processes to ensure high-quality production and efficiency. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across teams to improve processes, reduce scrap rates, and ensure safety compliance. A minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering and a degree in Mechanical Engineering are required. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of CAD software are advantages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering.
• Basic knowledge of plastic injection molding and die casting processes.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma principles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and establish standard operating procedures for die casting machines.
• Provide technical support to operators and supervisors.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives within the die casting area.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation and technical reports.
