Job summary

A manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an experienced candidate to innovate and optimize glass production processes. Responsibilities include driving continuous quality improvements, adhering to product quality requirements, and conducting cost-down activities. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and knowledge in CNC, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing. A strong background in project management and automation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 3-axis or 5-axis CNC knowledge.
• 3-5 years related working experience, ideally with MNC.
• Knowledge in Double Side & Single Side Polishing required.
• Experience in machine automation & Project Management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and develop manufacturing processes to meet product requirements.
• Drive quality improvements and ensure product quality adherence.
• Optimize production processes using the 5M approach.
• Conduct cost-down and value engineering activities.
• Perform statistical analysis on production failures.
• Improve efficiency through automation and IT initiatives.
