Job Vacancy: QA Lab Assistant (Food Manufacturing)

Company: Soy Sauce Factory
Location: Perai, Penang

2463, Solok Perusahaan 1, Prai Industrial Estate, 13600 Perai, Pulau Pinang

Working Days: Office 6 days/week
Working Hours:

• Monday – Saturday: 8.30am – 5.00pm

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to SOP.

• Perform basic laboratory tests (e.g., pH, Brix/sugar level, salt %, viscosity/density—depending on product requirements).

• Carry out sampling on the production line and record test results accurately.

• Verify packaging/label details such as batch number, expiry date, label condition, and overall appearance.

• Prepare and maintain QA records, checklists, and reports with proper documentation.

• Support GMP/cleanliness monitoring and report any non-conformance to QA Supervisor/Executive.

• Assist with basic equipment care and routine checks (as instructed).

Requirements

• Experience in QA/QC, lab work, or food manufacturing is an advantage.

• Fresh graduates may be considered if willing to learn and follow procedures.

• Detail-oriented, disciplined, able to follow SOP strictly, and comfortable working in a factory environment.

• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
