Job summary
A leading logistics firm in Port Klang is seeking a Transport / Logistics Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of transportation operations. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery, monitor fleet performance, manage driver recruitment, and adhere to all safety regulations. A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or a related field and proven experience in transportation or logistics are essential in this position, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in transport management systems and route planning.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily transportation operations to meet business needs.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods, minimizing delays.
- Monitor and optimize fleet performance.
- Oversee maintenance schedules and manage driver recruitment.
- Ensure adherence to transportation laws and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage the transport budget effectively.
