The Role
Conveyancing
- Handle sale and purchase agreements, including developer projects and sub-sales;
- Manage all loan documentation for end-financing;
- Handle other conveyancing matters such as tenancy agreements, transfer and charge perfection, discharge of charge/receipt, and reassignments;
- Coordinate with clients, banks, and government authorities;
- Monitor and update case files using our operational system;
- Administer files and maintain proper documentation and correspondence.
Corporate and Commercial
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate transactions;
- Draft and review commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents;
- Assist in forming and dissolving companies, partnerships, and other entities;
- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws;
- Represent clients in negotiations and business meetings;
- Collaborate with litigation teams to resolve disputes arising from corporate matters.
Litigation
- Assist in all litigation stages, including drafting pleadings and legal documents;
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries and arguments;
- Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and mediations;
- Keep clients updated on case developments and strategies;
- Support settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution;
- Assist senior litigation staff with case management.
Ideal Profile
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law and a valid Practicing Certificate;
- Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia;
- At least 2 years of experience in conveyancing, corporate, or litigation work is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply with comprehensive training provided;
- Possess a positive attitude, self-motivated, responsible, eager to learn, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
