Job summary
A construction firm in Malaysia is looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage costing and administrative tasks for maintenance and renovation projects. Responsibilities include preparing quotations, liaising with clients and suppliers, and maintaining project documentation. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and has experience in the QS field, preferably with a maintenance background. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building / Construction or equivalent.
- Experience in QS or a related field, preferably in maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and project documentation.

- Prepare quotation, cost estimation, and progress claims for projects.
- Assist in project documentation, filing, and report preparation.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and supervisors for pricing and status.

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor who is detail-oriented and able to handle both costing and admin-related tasks for building maintenance and minor renovation projects.
- Prepare quotation, cost estimation, and progress claims for maintenance projects.
- Assist in project documentation, filing, and report preparation.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and site supervisors for material pricing and job status.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and assist in preparing comparison sheets.
- Update project records, invoices, and payment tracking.
- Support project team with administrative tasks and communication.
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building / Construction or equivalent.
- Experience in QS or related field (maintenance background preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & project documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
