Job summary

A leading dairy company in Malaysia is looking for a Production Specialist to oversee specifications and admin tasks in R&D. Key responsibilities include managing SAP PLM tasks, coordinating packaging specifications with various teams, and ensuring document compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration and hands-on experience with SAP PLM. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for handling multiple tasks effectively.

Production Specialist - Specifications & Admin (R&D)

Serve as a key user for SAP PLM, responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining project-related tasks and data for all R&D initiatives.

Create and maintain raw material and packaging material codes, and handle material master data tasks in the DSP system.

Cross-Department Coordination for Specifications

Coordinate with internal teams, specification teams, and suppliers to review, amend, and release packaging specifications, standards, and other required documentation.

Document Management

Create, register, update, and manage documents in accordance with internal system standards and compliance requirements.

Create and process Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Goods Receipt (GR) within the Coupa system.

Shipping, Sampling & Warehousing Coordination

Liaise with warehouse teams to fulfill customer sampling and shipping requirements, ensuring accurate preparation and management of shipping documents.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Hands‑on experience with SAP PLM or similar Product Lifecycle Management systems.

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience in an R&D or manufacturing environment and familiarity with document control processes are advantageous.
