A leading waste management company in Malaysia is seeking fresh graduates for its Operations Apprentice Program. This 1+1 year program aims to nurture future technical talents with comprehensive hands-on exposure and mentorship in various technician roles, including Process, Preventive Maintenance, and Laboratory Technician. CENVIRO OPERATIONS APPRENTICE PROGRAM (COA)

The Cenviro Operations Apprentice (COA) Programme is a 1+1 year structured development pathway designed to build future technical talents within our Operations division. Apprentices will receive comprehensive hands‑on exposure, technical training, and direct mentorship from industry experts.

What are we looking for?
  • Applicants who are originally from Negeri Sembilan or have lived in the state for more than 10 years.
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical & Instrumentation, or Analytical Chemistry.
  • Fresh graduates or those with less than 1 year experience.
  • Minimum CGPA 3.0.
  • Physically fit & possess valid driving license.
  • Strong attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
Job Description:
1) Process Technician (Operations)
  • Assist in troubleshooting plant issues and process abnormalities.
  • Support plant start‑up, shutdown, and routine operations.
  • Perform basic repair, inspection, and reporting.
  • Monitor equipment reliability and consumables usage.
  • Support plant improvement and cost‑saving activities.
  • Ensure safety and good housekeeping.
2) Preventive Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation
  • Assist in preventive maintenance (PM) of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Perform basic inspections, troubleshooting, and calibration.
  • Prepare PM documentation and update SAP.
  • Support predictive maintenance (PdM) tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
3) Preventive Maintenance Technician – Mechanical
  • Execute PM activities for mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, etc.).
  • Support PdM such as vibration monitoring & thermal checks.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose corrective actions.
  • Update work orders in SAP PM.
  • Ensure maintenance aligns with safety and operational efficiency.
4) Laboratory Technician - Chemical or equivalent
  • Conduct analysis of solid waste, liquid waste, water & wastewater samples.
  • Operate, verify, and maintain lab instruments.
  • Support chemical stock monitoring, housekeeping & sample management.
  • Assist in method validation, lab studies, and proficiency testing.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and company safety standards.
