About the Role:

We are currently looking for a Renewal Sales Representative to join our regional team. In this role, you will be responsible for renewing maintenance and SaaS subscription‑based software products, up‑sells, price increases and extending the tenure and lifetime value of our customers. The person should be able to engage with various levels of contacts to advance the customer journey through strong rapport building and consultative partnership.

A key part of this role is identifying possible roadblocks to customer longevity in various parts of the Siemens/Customers relationship, including product training, license deployment, and license utilization. Skills include identification of potential customer needs, detailed account assessment, and in‑depth collaboration with other internal teams.

This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with occasional travel in the region.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Responsible for driving, forecasting and ensuring the closure of renewals.
  • Manage the different facets of subscription and support renewals.
  • Prepare the renewal proposals, notifications, and update customers for upcoming contract expiration.
  • Connect with partners/customers directly via email, phone calls, face to face meetings to negotiate terms and conditions to consult and sell specific renewal products, including multiyear renewal, co‑term renewals and upsell for renewal expansion.
  • Drives and own the transformation of perpetual license to SaaS licenses with partners and customers.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Pre‑sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Customer Success team to close renewals.
  • Identify customer needs, pain points and demonstrate account management capabilities to guide renewal closure.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to reduce churn rates.
  • Accountable for accurate 180‑day rolling forecasts and end‑to‑end management of deals throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with strong analytical background or equivalent experience.
  • Proven sales experience in the field of renewals quota carrying, inside sales or customer success in SaaS company.
  • Excellent customer management skills with external stakeholders leading to customer retention and adoption for SaaS model.
  • Familiar and demonstrated good proficiency regarding contract renewal processes.
  • Experience of working in a multinational organization covering the Southeast Asian market is preferred.
  • Ability to operate under strict deadlines and know how to prioritize the assigned tasks.
  • Proactive, results driven, eager to learn, detailed, strong follow up and adaptable.
  • Proficient in data analysis using Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP) and Power BI for forecasting and insights.
  • Willingness to travel for customer or partner meetings as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills in English is required, additional SEA languages e.g. Mandarin OR Cantonese are highly desired.
