Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be the trusted technical expert, representing DISW Support by meticulously diagnosing and resolving intricate Manufacturing Execution System (MES) issues for our enterprise customers. This role demands strong technical acumen and clear communication to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and applyproficient knowledge of Siemens DISW MES software and supporting technologies to investigate and resolve problems using advanced problem-solving skills and tools.
• Manage the entire problem resolution lifecycle, including setting customer expectations, identifying, isolating, and resolving technical issues.
• Prepareand deliver in-depth technical papers and presentations for peers and customer management.
• Guide and assist junior support engineers in effective problem-solving, demonstrating independent judgment on complex issues.
• Communicate effectively with all involved parties in both English and Mandarin.
• Solvecomplex problems efficiently on enterprise-level applications.
• Provide weekly rotating 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Fluent in English with communicative proficiency in Mandarin.
• Demonstrated experience within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) industry.
• Significant experience in a customer-facing technical support role, specifically resolving complex software and application issues.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding T-SQL and/or PL-SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, Food & Beverage (F&B), or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry environments.
• Relevant Oracle and/or Microsoft certifications.
