Repair Production Defects:
Execute repairs on defective PCBA boards from production, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
Debugging and Analysis:
Analyze and debug defective boards during New Product Introduction (NPI) builds, identifying issues and implementing effective repairs.
Collaboration with Product Engineering:
Work closely with the product engineering team to identify and resolve production issues, including those related to Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and PCBA assembly.
Failure Analysis:
Conduct detailed failure analyses of defective boards, collaborating with Research and Development (R&D) teams to investigate critical non-conformance symptoms.
Documentation:
Generate comprehensive failure analysis reports and repair documentation to facilitate future troubleshooting and improve processes.
Additional Duties:
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor to support team objectives and improve operational efficiency.
Skills that will help you succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Over 3 years working experience in failure analysis and repair of PCBA.
Strong understanding of SMT and PCBA assembly processes, as well as computer/server operation and electronic components/devices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in technical documentation and reporting.
Good soldering and de-soldering skills; familiarity with BGA rework is a plus.
Experience in computer/server testing and inspection.
