Internal Audit jobs in Malaysia

Conduct IT audits in system related areas such as Computer Operations, Security Management, System Development, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, clouds and hybrid infrastructures. These audits will include both for SAP and Non-SAP related system.

Conduct operational audit or any other assignment given by the Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager.

Review system and business processes in the various assigned business areas by obtaining, analyzing, verifying and appraising the business processes against best practices, systems and information to form an objective opinion on the risk mitigation actions, efficiency and effectiveness of the area being reviewed.

Develop the program of audit coverage, execute the scope of work for review and ensure appropriate actions has been taken by management.

Draft IT and operational audit report to ensure system risk are reported correctly and ensure proper resolution is undertaken.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Information Technology. A professional or associate member of the IIA, MIA or ISACA is an added advantage. Candidates currently pursuing CIA or CISA are preferred.

Minimum 7 years’ experience in Internal Audit Department or external audit firm.

Experience in auditing ERP application controls, system development life cycle (SDLC), information security assessments, cloud computing, cybersecurity control, IT infrastructure controls, IT governance controls and IT general controls.

Experience in auditable areas in operational other than IT including financial and operational aspects of business activities.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
