Responsibilities
  • Manage the day‑to‑day administrative functions of outsourced accounting and payroll departments, including budgeting, forecasting, and collection activities.
  • Evaluate potential clients and projects, and assess pricing for quotations to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and delivery of financial management reports.
  • Participate in internal audit assignments and prepare audit reports with actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement effective processes and procedures that comply with evolving regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure all deliverables, particularly in accounting and payroll, are completed on time and with high accuracy.
  • Establish and update payroll policies and procedures in alignment with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant local laws and regulations (e.g., LHDN, KWSP, PERKESO, PSMB, ZAKAT, ASNB), and advise management on necessary actions.
  • Allocate tasks, manage team schedules, and follow up on results to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality in handling payroll and sensitive client information.
  • Stay current with professional and industry developments by attending relevant workshops, reading publications, and participating in professional networks.
  • Contribute actively to the team’s performance and the achievement of overall company goals.
