Job summary
A technology solutions company in Selangor seeks a Software Presales Consultant to engage with clients and deliver compelling presentations of software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's in Computer Science and 3-5 years of relevant experience in software presales. Responsibilities include customizing Proof-of-Concepts and responding to technical sections of RFI/RFP documents. Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential for success in this dynamic role.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in software presales, solution consulting, or technical sales.
- Ability to create technical documentation and respond to RFI/RFP requirements.
- Good understanding of databases, data visualization, and workflow automation.

- Work closely with the Sales team to understand client needs.
- Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations.
- Prepare and customize Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) for clients.

- Prepare and customize Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to address client-specific requirements.
- Respond to technical sections of RFI/RFP documents and create solution proposals.
- Act as a technical advisor during the sales cycle, addressing client questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with Product and Implementation teams to ensure smooth handover from presales to delivery.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and partners.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in software presales, solution consulting, or technical sales.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Good understanding of software solutions such as BI, analytics, low-code platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Ability to create technical documentation and respond to RFI/RFP requirements.
- Familiarity with databases, data visualization, and workflow automation is an advantage.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations.
