A technology services company in Johor, Iskandar Puteri, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to monitor servers and assist users with technical issues. Responsibilities include maintaining IT asset inventory, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring completion of service requests. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in IT, 1–2 years of experience, and basic knowledge of operating systems and networking. This full-time position may require after-hours support for urgent issues.
Assist in monitoring servers, networks, and applications for performance and uptime.
Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Ensure the completion of Service Requests based on the SLA.
Provide first-level technical support to employees.
Help with setting up user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
Provide assistance on user inquiries regarding technical matters involving PC support.
Support routine system updates, patches, and backups.
Assist in maintaining IT asset inventory.
Record incidents, resolutions, and system changes accurately.
Prepare simple reports for IT operations activities.
Follow IT security guidelines and ensure proper handling of company data.
Assist in implementing basic security measures.
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in IT support or operations.
Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows), networking, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and common IT tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Full-time position.
May require occasional after-hours/weekend support for urgent issues & planned activities.
