A technology firm in Malaysia seeks a skilled desktop support professional to manage IT-related equipment, provide technical support, and assist with system maintenance. The role demands at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in Windows operating systems, and communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Malay. Manage and maintain all desktop computers, monitors, laptops, printers, and other IT-related equipment within the company.
Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, network connectivity problems, and provide timely and effective technical support.
Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
Manage computer accounts, permissions, and security settings.
Provide IT training and support for new employees.
Assist the IT team in project implementation and system maintenance.
Record IT incidents and issues, and track the progress.
Responsible for daily server/system checks, including operation status, disk space, log analysis, etc.
Responsible for creating IT accounts, including computer accounts, email accounts, instant messaging accounts, document cloud accounts, encryption accounts, and OA accounts.
Responsible for business system management and maintenance, including systems like OA, HR, email, instant messaging, document cloud, CPM, KM, encryption, external websites, FTP, [PLM, ERP, SRM, ATS] (backend maintenance).
Responsible for basic system management and maintenance, including AD, DHCP, DNS, hyper-convergence, cloud, database, desktop cloud, and backup systems.
Responsible for network engineering/monitoring engineering project initiation, follow-up, implementation, maintenance, and network security strengthening and protection.
Conduct daily checks of the network/server room, including daily inspections of network equipment, operation status, log analysis, etc.
Handle network fault resolution, including VPN issues, wired/wireless network issues, external network access issues, slow network, etc.
Responsible for the management and maintenance of the access card system, including modules like access control, consumption, and visitor management.
Handle visitor Wi‑Fi account setup and issue resolution; maintain the telephone system, including conference room password setup, long‑distance authorization, and fault handling.
Assist in liaising with domestic system personnel to handle business systems like MES, QMS, WMS, EMS, etc.

Possess Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 5 years of desktop support experience, with a preference for those with experience in large enterprises.
Proficient in Windows operating systems (such as Windows 10/11) installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Familiar with the installation and use of office software such as WPS.
Familiar with basic network knowledge, including an understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
Able to communicate in Mandarin, English & Malay language. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Willing relocate to our new manufacturing plant at Karangan, Kedah in Q4 2025.
