Job summary

A leading insurance provider located in Kuala Lumpur seeks a knowledgeable professional to support new product launches and system enhancements. Responsibilities include managing UAT delivery plans, documenting user requirement specifications, and collaborating closely with IT to align solutions with business needs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience in the insurance or health services industry, with strong skills in requirement gathering and testing. An understanding of LifeAsia or GroupAsia systems is a plus.

Job description

Support new product/ campaign launching, system enhancements and roll out initiatives.

Manage UAT delivery plan and strategy.

Validate the detail technical solutions to ensure they are aligned with the business solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Document user requirement specification for new products/ system enhancement and obtain sign off from Process Owner on the accuracy of requirement documentation
  • Work closely with IT on system design solutions to ensure it is aligned with business objectives.
  • Initiate meeting/ discussion with IT or Business Users to confirm requirements for new product and enhancements.
  • Manage, plan and decide testing strategy for all deliverables
  • Identify the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements of the document
  • Design test cases to cover test conditions and documentation.
  • Develop test procedures and other quality documentation: test plans, test cases, and status reports for superior.
  • Manage all issues and defects arise during testing and ensure all of them are resolved in timely manner
  • Provide post system implementation/ production support to Business Users.
  • Prepare system guide and provide training to Business Users where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Business Administration, Insurance, Information Technology
  • Preferably minimum 5 years' experience in insurance or health services industry with experience in requirement gathering and testing
  • Ability to provide new and innovative approaches to solving common business problems
  • Ability to work independently in a matrix organization chart with good interpersonal skill
  • Experience in LifeAsia or GroupAsia system would be an advantage
