A leading electronics manufacturer in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, seeks an IT Project Manager to oversee project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in IT project management, demonstrate strong planning and coordination skills, and possess knowledge of ERP and MES systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project deliverables meet timelines. Knowledge of English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, while Mandarin is an advantage.
Analyse business needs, plan IT projects, and deliver solutions aligned with company goals.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Track project deliverables and ensure timely completion.
Gather and analyse user requirements for new system features and enhancements.
Perform SQL queries, troubleshoot system/database issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and maintain ISO documents, SOPs, and system documentation.
Monitor system and database performance to ensure stability and efficiency.
Drive and monitor progress of assigned IT projects.
Perform database checks, validations, and system troubleshooting.
Support users and resolve system‑related issues.
Coordinate with departments to implement solutions and close issues effectively.
Strong planning and coordination skills with proven project execution ability.
Experience in production line processes and HR/attendance systems is an advantage.
Knowledge of ERP and MES systems is highly preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT project management or functional support.
Fast learner with strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
Able to work independently with proactive and positive attitude.
Good teamwork and communication skills across multiple departments.
Strong ability to bridge business users and technical teams.
Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
