IT Delivery Engineer Leader â MRO ICT C&SI

Our client is seeking a seasoned IT Delivery Engineer Leader to oversee IT service management and project delivery, with a focus on server, storage, and virtualization platforms preferable from Telco Industry. This leadership role involves managing a technical team and ensuring the successful execution of enterprise-level IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT service management initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage and guide an engineering team of 5–10 members in daily operations, task distribution, and technical support.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS/Object Storage) and virtualization platforms, resolving complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver integrated IT and storage solutions, including disaster recovery, capacity planning, and data migration.
• Develop and conduct technical training programs to enhance team capabilities in storage, virtualization, and database technologies.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications or ICT industry, particularly in consulting, presales engagement, solution development, or marketing design.
• Ideal candidates may come from telecom operators (product development/marketing), telecom vendors, or professional consultancy firms.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• From System Integrator/IT/Solutions Providers company, Telco and Finance industry experience is an added advantage.
• Experience in data migration and be familiar with at least one of the following fields: Computer Fundamentals, Storage, Virtualization, Database.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT engineering.
• Strong communication skills; multilingual proficiency is an advantage.
• Preferred certifications: Red Hat (RHCE/RHCA), VMware (VCP/VCAP), PMP/ITIL, Storage (EMC, NetApp).
• Solid understanding of at least one core area: Computer Fundamentals, Storage, Virtualization, or Database.
• Awareness of emerging technologies in Cloud Computing, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Hands‑on experience with large‑scale storage projects (PB‑level); knowledge of HCI (vSAN/Nutanix) is a plus.
• Expertise in storage protocols (FC/iSCSI/NVMe), RAID, deduplication, snapshots, and OS‑level storage (Linux/Windows).
• Familiarity with cloud‑native storage (Kubernetes CSI) and virtualization platforms.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and team management skills.
• Quick learner with a keen interest in emerging technologies.
• Telecommunications industry experience is considered a plus.
• Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage.
