Job summary

A leading IT services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced IT Support professional. The role involves executing and resolving access, device, and network-related issues for end users, ensuring that productivity is maintained. You will need at least 4 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields. This position offers a 1-year contract with the possibility to convert to a permanent role, and you will work Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant working experience in IT Support.
  • Experience with Identity Access Management.
  • Knowledge about IT policies and IT governance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot teleconferencing devices.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Execute and fulfil end user’s access, device and network related issues and provide solutions quickly to ensure productivity is not impacted
  • Facilitate and resolve operational tools related issues / escalations from end-users within the agreed SLA
  • Facilitate queries from other departments to ensure the correct steps are taken to achieve their goals with minimal risks and impact to the company’s operation while complying to company and IT audit regulations
  • Prepare and share necessary documentation for processes and procedures which can be used as an easy reference by end users
  • Maintain control measures when and where needed to ensure compliance to regulations (PCI-DSS / RMiT)
  • Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant working experience in IT Support
  • Experience with Identity Access Management
  • Knowledge about IT policies and IT governance
  • Ability to communicate clearly with end users on solutions and workarounds
  • Ability to manage end user communication
  • Able to troubleshoot teleconferencing devices
  • Able to manage IT inventory
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location

Location: Bangsar South
Contract: 1 year (with possibility to convert to permanent role)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
