We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team at Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns (A member of OSK Group) in Kuantan, Pahang. As a Pastry Chef, you will play a vital role in creating and delivering exceptional baked goods and desserts to delight our guests. • Producing a diverse range of high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and presentation standards
• Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new and innovative pastry items for our menus
• Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen
• Maintaining accurate inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Providing mentorship and training to junior members of the pastry team
• Participating in special events and catering requests as required

• Formal training or qualifications in baking and pastry arts, such as a diploma or certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Exceptional baking and decorating skills, with a keen eye for detail and presentation
• Proficiency in using standard pastry kitchen equipment and tools
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle high-pressure environments
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the culinary team
• A passion for creating delectable pastries and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
