Job summary

A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Executive - Billing Support to manage billing processes and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, as well as attention to detail and organizational skills. This is an entry-level position offering an attractive salary of RM4,000 – RM4,500, housing allowance, and various employee benefits including medical coverage and annual leave.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a billing executive or in a similar accounting role.
  • Good knowledge of electronic billing procedures.

Job Description

The Responsibilities of the Role:

  • The billing executive should have a keen eye for detail. Also be comfortable working with little supervision to meet tight deadlines. The goal will be to monitor accounts receivable and ensure we bill our customers correctly, among others.
  • Issue and distribute invoices.
  • Build and process quotations.
  • Process new contracts and sales.
  • Collaborate with other departments/teams to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Address customer complaints and questions.
  • Keep track of accounts receivable and transactions.
  • Assist with customer account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present analytical reports.
  • Support monthly and quarterly audits and clean ups.
  • Resolve any issues or mistakes.
  • Propose potential sales opportunity and upsell to customers.
  • Procurement of spare parts and logistics.
  • Speak to customers with clarity and ensure that the information regarding their service is communicated with clarity.
  • Any additional task assigned by management.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a billing executive or similar accounting role.
  • Good knowledge of electronic billing procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • IT knowledge (Hardware/Software) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin Cantonese (to read, write and speak).
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
