Job description

Adept Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. As a full‑time employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction site operations.

What you’ll be doing

Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential health, safety and environmental risks

Implementing and monitoring the site’s safety policies, procedures and safe work practices

Providing health and safety training to all site personnel and subcontractors

Investigating and reporting on any incidents, accidents or near‑misses, and recommending corrective actions

Liaising with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and contractual requirements

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the site’s health, safety and environmental management

Actively promoting a positive safety culture and encouraging safe behaviour among the workforce

What we’re looking for

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry

Thorough understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, environmental management, and construction site safety best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all levels of personnel

Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to identify and resolve safety‑related issues

Proficient in the use of safety management software and technology

Relevant safety certifications, such as IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent, would be an advantage
