Job summary
A manufacturing company located in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced technician to handle plant and machinery restructuring, conduct machine refurbishment, and ensure the upkeep of production machines. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing emergency repairs, and complying with health and safety regulations. This position offers opportunities for process improvements and participation in various operational activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification.
- Fresh or local worker with minimum 1 year experience in related field.
Responsibilities
- Carry out plant and machinery restructuring activities.
- Perform machine refurbishment activities.
- Ensure general upkeep of all machines and plant.
- Design and fabricate new jigs and fixtures for production.
- Perform design, installation, and automation tasks.
- Install and maintain production machines and equipment.
- Provide emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance.
- Diagnose problems and make adjustments.
- Assist in preparing product prototype samples.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
