Job summary
An international recruitment consultancy is seeking an Accounting professional in Johor, Malaysia. The role involves managing daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience with accounting software like SAP-ERP and proficiency in communication are also essential. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and project management.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of working experience in accounting, preferably in an accounting firm or MNC.
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Tax Regulations is a plus.
- Experience in supporting cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily general accounting activities.
- Perform month-end closing activities and prepare analyses for financial statement reviews.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments and external parties.
- Assist with yearly budget preparation.
