Qualifications

  • Knowledge of café or outlet operations is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

About the Role

Are you passionate about numbers and thrive in a dynamic F&B environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our growing team. This role is key in ensuring accurate financial management and reporting, statutory compliance, and supporting our café operations across multiple outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full set of accounts, including monthly closing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and provide insights to the management.
  • Handle budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business growth.
  • Manage statutory payments (e.g. SST, EPF, SOCSO, PCB) and ensure timely compliance.
  • Compliance and timely submission for e-invoicing.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and government bodies on financial and other related matters.
  • Collaborate with outlet managers to reconcile POS reports, bank deposits, and expenses.
  • Support accounting process setup for new outlets or franchise expansion.
  • Continuously improve accounting systems, internal controls, and reporting processes.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the F&B or retail franchise industry.
  • Knowledge of café or outlet operations is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in SQL accounting software, Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
