Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our accomplished team at FITRAH FOOD MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD. in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. This full-time position will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our Accounting department's operations.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Perform general bookkeeping duties such as recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable
• Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with relevant accounting regulations
• Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure all financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and properly documented
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses as required
• Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and procedures to improve efficiency

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional certification in accounting or a related field would be an advantage
