A trading company in Kedah, Malaysia is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in daily accounting tasks. The role involves data entry for invoices and payments, preparing and issuing invoices, and verifying supplier invoices. Ideal candidates will have a certificate in accounting or finance and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with training and career development opportunities available. The position offers a salary range of RM2800, along with benefits like EPF and annual leave.
Assist in daily accounting tasks including AP (Accounts Payable) and AR (Accounts Receivable).
Perform data entry for invoices, receipts, payments, and journals.
Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, and statements to customers.
Verify supplier invoices, prepare payment vouchers, and update records.
Maintain and organize accounting documents for audit and internal review.
Update and maintain the accounting system / software accurately.
Handle general administrative duties when required.
Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Fresh graduates who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply; experience in accounting is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SQL preferred).
Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills (fluent in Chinese, English, Malay) and ability to work as part of a team.
High sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and integrity.
Monday to Friday: 8:00AM – 6:00PM
Salary range: RM2800
