Job summary
A leading retail company in Shah Alam is seeking a suitable candidate for a sales support role. The candidate will actively promote products, onboard customers onto loyalty programs, and manage customer inquiries efficiently. This position requires proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with a minimum education level of SPM. Responsibilities
- Promote products and educate customers on promotions.
- Onboard customers onto loyalty programs.
- Handle transactions efficiently at POS terminals.
- Resolve 1st level technical issues.
- Assist customers with inquiries and complaints.
- Manage marketing materials and stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
Education
- Possess a minimum education level of SPM or equivalent.
- Punctual, honest, tidy attire and possess a positive learning attitude.
- Must be able to speak and read Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to speak and read English; Chinese is an added advantage.
- Actively promote products and educate customers on promotional campaigns and product offerings within the station.
- Proactively onboard customers onto petrol station’s loyalty reward programs.
- Promote and educate customers on station and oil company’s fleet services.
- Handle customer transactions using point of sale (POS) terminals while abiding by the company’s customer service policies.
- Resolve 1st level technical issues with related merchant support teams as and when needed.
- Assist customers in resolving issues pertaining to the station’s product & services.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Act as a point of contact between the station and head office customer support team (MYHQCSC Caltex).
- Address customer enquiries pertaining government fuel subsidies and resolve any issues or queries pertaining to the matter.
- Curate and manage station marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
- Track, monitor and manage stock levels for the convenience store and order supplies as needed.
