QA Paint Shop Senior Executive
Job summary
A leading automotive assembly company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced quality control specialist. The role involves leading Paint Buy-off inspections, monitoring production, and analyzing quality data. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in quality assurance and the ability to coordinate improvements in the production line. Responsibilities
- Lead Paint Buy-off inspection activities at Paint Shop 1.
- Monitor Daily production in line process.
- Ensure Inspection activities follow the procedure and standard.
- Investigate customer complaint received and provide solutions.
- Lead Paint Buy-off inspection activities at Paint Shop 1.
- Monitor Daily production in line process.
- Involve inter-shop buy-off activities (Body Shop, Paint Shop & Trim Shop), and Principals during new product introduction, mass pro and customer concerns.
- Quality data collection, do analysis, prepare the report and come out with suggestion / solution for improvement.
- Monitor related maintenance of tools & equipment provided by company.
- Provide the training to subordinates from time to time.
- Do evaluation skill for subordinates.
- Establish and update related documents such as procedure, work standard, check sheet etc when necessary.
- Ensure Inspection activities follow the procedure and standard.
- Quality records control activities.
- Investigate customer complaint received (internal & external) and come out the solution for improvement.
- Coordinate quality improvement in the line.
- Involved in any activities which related to testing / trial and validation such as color matching, paint thickness & paint viscosity in Paint Shop.
- Coordinate and participate in 5’s, Safety & Health, Kaizen & ICC activities.
- To execute the General Duties of Employer under part IV Section 15 of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and Environmental Quality Act (EQA 1974).
Inokom is involved in the assembly and manufacturing of light commercial vehicles as well as contract assembly. Its manufacturing facility is located in Padang Meha, Kulim, occupying 200 acres of freehold land. Production first commenced in August 1997.The Company is owned by a consortium of corporate shareholders, which constitutes of Sime Darby Motors Sdn.
