Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting and between 3-7 years of relevant experience, with strong competencies in project control tools and excellent communication skills. This position involves cost planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management, making it essential for the candidate to be well-organized and data-savvy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-7 years of working experience in Oil and Gas Project Cost Control.
  • Knowledge in Project Management.
  • Formal training or courses in cost control, project management, or data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Execute cost control activities including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Provide cost control advice to internal project teams.
  • Manage stakeholder coordination and support improvement initiatives.

Qualification
  • Education background : Degree in Accounting
  • Year of work experience : Minimum 3-7 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas related industry with specific function in Project Cost Control, Cost estimation, or Project Control.
Additional Experience related
  • Other Project Management area such as :-
  • Procurement/ Contract Management
  • Schedule Management
  • Complete oil and gas project life cycle (Pre-Dev/FEL, EPCIC, Drilling, FDP formulation etc.)
  • Received formal trainings or attended courses related to cost control, project control, project management or data analytics.
Competency/Skill
  • Knowledgeable in Total Cost Management Concepts & Terminologies.
  • Governance.
  • Processes, tool & system and best practices for all Cost Control scope including:
  • Actual cost & VOWD tracking
  • Forecasting
  • Cost & variance analysis
  • Reporting/documentation
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid networking and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
Accreditation/Certification/Software to perform the function
  • Intermediate or advance skill in Project control software such as:-
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • SAP PS
  • Project control system (ex: EcoSys, P6 Unifi, SAP PMS or equivalent)
  • Added advantage for candidate with accreditation/certification from Project Management Institution such as :-
  • PMI
  • AACEI
