Job summary

A leading automotive assembly company in Malaysia is seeking candidates for a role that involves coordinating personnel across departments, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring the production process is efficient during new model introductions. Candidates should be knowledgeable in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Environmental Quality Act. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate personnel for process validation during new model introduction.
• Study jigs and Paint Shop equipment for new model introduction.
• Conduct feasibility studies of existing Paint Shop.
• Ensure all Work Instructions are up to date for all vehicle models.
• Develop communication networks to ensure smooth production.
• Manage administrative activities within the department.
• Monitor quality through process audits.
• Execute General Duties of Employer under OSHA and EQA.
• Perform any other assigned tasks.

Job description

• To coordinate personnel between the various department for process and parts validation during new model introduction.
• To studies on jigs, stays and Paint Shop equipment for new model introduction.
• To conduct feasibility study of existing Paint Shop for new model introduction and process methodology to ensure the production efficiency.
• To ensure that the assembly or production Work Instruction (WI) are established and up to date for all vehicle models
• To participate with various supporting department and to develop good communication networks to ensure smooth production activities during any new model introduction before mass production.
• To control and manage the administrative activities within department including control of documents.
• To control and monitor in term of process, quality and else through process audit.
• To execute the General Duties of Employer under part IV Section 15 of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and Environmental Quality Act (EQA 1974).
• To perform any other task assigned by the superior from time to time.
