Responsible for the construction section and act as the main liaison/coordination officer with the Client Representative.
To organize and coordinate with site team, contract team and safety team to achieve target as set in contract.
To manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule, manage resources and cost control.
To conduct regular meetings with all team members and sub-contractors to review progress of work.
To take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather or emergencies at construction site.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and authorities in resolving site issues.
Effectively applies safe and economical methodology and enforces project standards.
Compliance with company QA & QC Standard Operation Procedure (company guidelines).
Post contract management including progress claim, sub-con claim, and VO.
Requirements:
Experience in high-rise project is necessary.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English language.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Possess positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently to maintain high standards and accuracy.
Knowledge of ISO standards is an added advantage.
