Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within Data Centre, Semiconductor, and Manufacturing industries.
  • Engage with clients such as Engineering, QA, EHS, Facilities, and Procurement teams to understand technical and compliance needs.
  • Promote SGS testing, inspection, certification, and audit services tailored to client operations.
  • Conduct client visits and presentations.
  • Support marketing and business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project delivery.
  • Adherence to applicable Quality Management System by exercising necessary standard and process when carrying out responsibilities, ensuring compliance with QMS and ISO 17020 & MIBAS policy, 17065 & ACB policy and ISO17025 & SAMM policy (where applicable/required).
  • Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by upholding a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in technical B2B sales, preferably in testing, inspection, certification, engineering services, or industrial solutions.
  • Exposure to Data Centre, Semiconductor, Construction, or Manufacturing sectors is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to communicate with technical stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willing to travel within assigned region (Selangor / Kuala Lumpur or as assigned).
  • Self‑motivated, structured, and able to manage a long sales cycle.
  • Able to coordinate and motivate a team towards a common goal.
  • Able to realize business opportunities in conformity to the business strategy.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in related field and in using management methods and tools.
  • Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
  • Business and profit‑mindful with related knowledge, competitive and profit‑driven; re‑invents competitive advantage.
  • Able to interact with all levels of management, suppliers and clients.
  • Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
