Role: Web Senior Developer
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join us as a Web Senior Developer to build our web application, serving customers in the Asia Pacific Region. Be a part of a new team that will build a new end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform to enable new distribution models. Insurance offerings on this platform will be specifically designed for high levels of automation and straight through processing across the full insurance value chain.
- Have a deep understanding of business requirements, and how to best build the web application
- Familiarity with Node JS
- Unit testing (JEST), integration testing and deployments in various environments
- Interface with other teams for technical details to integrate the web with back-end services
- Documentation of code
- Familiar with, or carry out, CI/CD processes in AWS (e.g., configuration management, daily automated build, unit testing, etc.)
- Occasional travel may be required
- Experience in Next.js and REST/JSON
- Experience in Node JS
- Prior experience in Financial Services or Insurance highly regarded
- Experience with JEST, JIRA, BitBucket, Bamboo, SonarQube is a plus
- Problem solving
- Experience with MVC and other design patterns
- Passion for new and emerging technologies, the ability to investigate these in depth
- Ability to understand business requirements in detail
