Cyber Security and Network Engineer

Join ABB as Cyber Security and Network Engineer for the Process Automation Business Area where you will be responsible for installation, configuration, and commissioning of the systems in our delivery projects. This is a varied role where you will manage the complete setup of cyber security, network configuration, including firewalls, routers, and switches. Reporting to PAEN Engineering Manager and this position will be based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and deploying cyber security controls to distributed control system for Industrial Automation Systems
• Developing the system architecture in line with security standards and project requirements
• Understanding and ensuring compliance to cyber security standards
• Developing and documenting design specifications, and project documents
• Supporting project and service teams in the region with security implementation
• Configuring network equipments comprising of switches, routers, and firewalls
• Willingness in visiting customers more than 60% of the time

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science with specialization in Computer Engineering, IS/IT or equivalent
• 3 to 8 years of experience, alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments
• Exposure to Cybersecurity standards like IEC62443
• Familiar with virtualization, routing, and firewalls
• CCNA or equivalent certification would be an added advantage
• Experience administrating Information Systems and Virtual environments
