Job description

We are seeking a Chemist/Microbiologist to support laboratory operations including chemical and microbiological analysis, sample preparation and basic product blending. The role involves routine testing, handling analytical instruments and maintaining good laboratory practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC and other basic lab equipment
• Conduct chemical and microbiological analysis on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products
• Perform microbial culture work including sample plating, incubation and result observation
• Carry out laboratory analysis, maintaining clear record of date collection
• Assist in small-scale blending or formulation according to standard procedures
• Record test results accurately and prepare basic laboratory reports
• Support routine lab housekeeping and equipment calibration checks

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or related field
• Basic hands‑on experience with HPLC and laboratory instruments is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in the operation and maintenance of various laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• A passion for scientific research and a commitment to delivering high‑quality results
