A leading enterprise in Malaysia is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Executive to manage regulatory matters for food and non-food products, ensure compliance with Halal Assurance Management System, and support audits. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs or quality assurance. Strong attention to detail and project management skills are essential for this role.
Manage and handle regulatory matters for food, supplements, and non-food products, including product classification, registration, labelling, certifications and approvals under relevant authorities such as NPRA, BKKM, LIU, KPDN, JAKIM and etc.
Act as Halal Executive for the company and ensure compliance with the Halal Assurance Management System.
Handle trademark registration and renewal processes for company products.
Support internal and external audits including documentation preparation, corrective action follow-up, and closure of non‑conformities.
Conduct product checks and manage retention samples to ensure traceability and quality control.
Liaise with regional offices and forwarding agents to ensure smooth product export and timely regulatory compliance.
Provide regulatory and quality support to product team.
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.
2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, or quality assurance (preferably in FMCG, food or cosmetics industry).
Good understanding of BKKM, NPRA, Halal, ISO, and other local regulatory frameworks.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organization skills.
Good communication and coordination ability across departments and external agencies.
Independent, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
