Job summary
A new café in Ipoh is seeking passionate individuals to join their pre-opening team. Candidates will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, and ensure food safety standards. Ideal applicants have a certificate or diploma in culinary arts and a willingness to learn. Experience in food service is advantageous, and the role requires the ability to work shifts, including weekends. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a restaurant from the very start.

- Ability to follow recipes and portion controls.

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
- Support inventory stocking and ingredient preparation.

We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our new café named Lemang Panda. We are currently looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our pre-opening team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a café from the very beginning. Lemang Panda is a new Malaysian restaurant located at Greentown, Ipoh area dedicated to promoting authentic local cuisine, with lemang as one of our signature dishes.
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Assist with dishwashing and waste management.
- Support inventory stocking and ingredient preparation.
- Work efficiently as part of the kitchen team.
- Certificate / Diploma / in Culinary, or any related field.
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work rotation shifts, including weekends and holidays.
