Job summary
A leading banking institution in Penang is looking for a sales-oriented individual to achieve sales targets and promote retail products to customers. Candidates should have at least 2 years of sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the necessary licenses for the portfolio. The role involves customer engagement and actively participating in sales activities to enhance branch performance. This position is key to growing the branch's customer base and driving revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in financial institutions.
- Must possess required licenses for the sales portfolio.
- Pleasant personality with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales/revenue targets set by the bank.
- Promote and sell retail products to existing and potential customers.
- Grow the branch customer base and manage deposits and fee income.
- Engage with customers to retain and generate referrals.
Skills
- 2 years sales experience preferably in FIs
- Pleasant personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have relevant licenses required for the portfolio
- Sales and results oriented
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skill
- To achieve sales/revenue target assigned by the Bank and contribute towards the achievement of the overall branch targets
- To promote and professionally sell a range of retail products to existing and potential customers
- Acquire and grow branch customers base, ENR, deposits (CASA/FD) and fee income
- Participate in branch/region/bank sales activities and campaigns to achieve deliverables
- Prepare and pro-actively execute sales plan, perform account opening, cross selling, up selling and engagement with customers for retention and referrals
