Qualifications

What you'll do:

General Ledger:
  • Responsible for reviewing the transactions prepared by other finance operation teams and performing bank reconciliation.
  • Review and approve all manual journal entries prepared by other finance operation teams.
  • Perform monthly closing and prepare the journal entries, adjustments and its schedules.
Financial Reporting:
  • Oversee the accuracy and completeness of financial records of our legal entity.
  • Ensure intercompany transactions and eliminations are properly accounted for.
  • Assist in the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities.
  • Perform analytical review for variances and provide suggestions for improvement initiatives.
Tax Reporting:
  • Prepare tax returns and its necessary tax documents.
  • Assist in liaising with tax authorities and working with the local tax consultants to meet the statutory filing deadlines.
Others:
  • Assist in liaising with auditors for statutory audits to maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit.
  • Identify opportunities and assist to drive or support productivity improvement projects.
  • Other ad-hoc assignments.

Who you are:

  • ⭐ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • ⭐ Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the related roles. Prior audit experience with Big 4 is preferred.
  • ⭐ Strong knowledge of FRS and consolidation process.
  • ⭐ Excellent verbal and written communications in English.
  • ⭐ An analytical, meticulous, critical thinking and problem solving mindset to approach everyday challenges.
  • ⭐ Strong team player and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other finance operation teams in the organisation.
  • ⭐ Proficient in MS Excel and Google sheets.
  • ⭐ Experience with Xero and understanding of ERP systems will have an added advantage.
  • ⭐ Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • ⭐ Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
