Senior Quality Engineer — Assembly & Test Leader
Job summary
A global leader in memory solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to oversee quality aspects at their Penang site. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing quality audits, and collaborating with teams on corrective actions. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in semiconductor assembly and test processes. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in Semiconductor component assembly & Test or Surface-Mount Technology industry as a product engineer or Quality engineer.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulations.
- Manage Global Material Review Board meetings and lead rescreening activities.
- Collaborate to identify root causes and validate corrective actions.
