A leading food manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks an experienced professional to lead product development for sauces. The role involves reviewing formulations, maintaining all R&D documentation, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian food regulations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Food Science/Technology, at least 5 years in food manufacturing (preferably sauces), and a strong command of English. This position provides an opportunity to innovate and optimize product offerings in a dynamic environment.
Lead in product development, review formulation, materials and processes, product improvement / cost optimization, conducting shelf life studies whenever necessary.
Ensure proper maintenance of all relevant R&D documentation i.e. formulations, manufacturing procedures and specifications.
Stay abreast with regulatory, industry and market food trends.
Participate in appointed GMP, HACCP, ISO, Halal, OSH or other committees/ audits assigned.
Conduct sensory evaluation.
