SALES ENGINEER
Job summary
A leading provider in water management solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer in Puchong. This role involves driving sales and developing client relationships in the pure water and waste water sector. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in sales or technical support. Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Malay is essential. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong communication skills to deliver tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our growing team.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts in the pure water and waste water sector. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate our solutions and foster relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, knowledge of waste water treatment processes, and a passion for contributing to a sustainable environment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pure water and waste water industry, including municipal and industrial clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure solutions meet client specifications.
- Prepare and submit proposals, quotes, and technical documentation for projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to enhance sales strategies.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote our products and services.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, targets, and forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or related) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or technical support within the pure water and waste water industry or related field.
- Strong understanding of waste water treatment processes and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building relationships.
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Malay.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
