Job summary
A prominent recruitment platform is seeking an experienced accountant to manage financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing tax compliance, and overseeing payroll. Qualifications
- A few years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, and Malaysian tax regulations.
- Good understanding of payroll and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate consolidated financial statements.
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Oversee payroll processing and compliance with labor laws.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends.
- Ensure adherence to Malaysian accounting regulations.
