Job summary
A retail company in Malaysia is seeking a Cashier to manage cash, card, and online transactions while ensuring accuracy and security. Responsibilities include maintaining daily records and preparing reports for the accounting department. The ideal candidate has experience in cash handling and a sales role. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records are essential for this position.
Qualifications
- Experience handling cash and conducting transactions.
- Ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Familiarity with cash-handling procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage cash, cards, and online transactions.
- Ensure security of cash and follow procedures.
- Prepare and submit Daily Collection Report.
Manage cash, cards and online transactions, receiving payments, issuing receipts, and providing change accurately.
Ensure the security of cash and follow established cash-handling procedures in the Operation.
Responsible for daily sales shortages. Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash at the end of the day.
Prepare and submit Daily Collection Report to the Accounting Department.
