A mining services company in Indonesia seeks a skilled technician to resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on mining equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and have 2-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include providing technical support, conducting training, and performing maintenance. Good command in English is essential, and willingness to travel to remote sites is required.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on mining equipment.
Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to customers and field service teams.
Escalate complex issues to engineering and follow through until resolution.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
Verify proper setup and calibration according to OEM specifications.
Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on OEM products.
Document service activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Conduct operator and maintenance training sessions for customers.
Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
Collect and report product performance data and customer feedback.
Collaborate with engineering to improve product reliability and design.
Identify required spare parts and assist customers with ordering.
Maintain accurate records of parts usage and service reports.
Ensure all work complies with OEM standards, mining regulations, and safety protocols.
Promote safe work practices during all service activities.
