An international engineering and consulting firm is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead LNG import terminal projects from their office in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in LNG project management, strong leadership skills, and fluency in English. This role involves managing the project lifecycle, coordinating engineering deliverables, and contributing to business development. A master's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and support LNG import terminal technical studies and projects from our JK Office.
This role focuses on managing Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Project Management Consultancy (PMC), and related technical consultancy assignments, while also contributing to team management and business coordination.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with international engineering or consulting organizations, a strong understanding of LNG Import Terminal Project development, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams to deliver complex projects efficiently.
Lead and oversee LNG import terminal projects and technical studies, covering FEED, PMC, and conceptual development stages.
Manage the entire project lifecycle from planning and execution to monitoring and close-out, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
Coordinate and review engineering deliverables across all disciplines, including marine, process, mechanical, civil, electrical, and safety.
Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary project team, promoting collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence.
Support resource planning, task allocation, and coordination across offices and disciplines.
Drive team performance, foster professional growth, and maintain a positive, results-oriented work culture.
Collaborate with leadership on business development, proposal preparation, and tender submissions for LNG and energy consulting assignments.
Identify emerging opportunities and contribute to the growth of the JK Office through technical excellence and client engagement.
Represent the company in meetings, technical discussions, and industry events related to LNG and energy infrastructure.
Experience:10-15 years in project management of LNG import terminal FEED, PMC, or technical consultancy projects.
Education: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
International Experience: Prior work experience with global engineering or consulting firms is highly desirable.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead multi-cultural and cross-functional teams effectively.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Language: Fluent in English; local language proficiency will be an advantage.
Tools: Familiar with project management systems (MS Project, Primavera) and engineering document control platforms.
