Job summary

A garment manufacturing company in Bandung is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to manage buyer relations and coordinate production. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in garment manufacturing, a Bachelor’s degree, and excellent English communication skills. Familiarity with garment construction and proficiency in relevant software are essential. Qualifications

• Willing to be placed in Bandung (WFO).

Job description

Establishing and maintaining strong relationship with buyers.

Reviewing development packs (sketches, trim sheets, measurement sheets).

Coordinating with internal design and product development teams to create samples (proto, fit, size set, PP samples).

Ensuring samples meet buyer's specifications and securing approvals.

Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for fabrics, trims, and other materials.

Preparing purchase orders for raw materials and accessories.

Monitoring the timely collection and quality of raw materials.

Creating and managing production schedules (Time & Action Plans - T&A) to meet deadlines.

Coordinating with various internal departments (cutting, sewing, finishing, quality control).

Advising the production department on buyer needs and technical aspects.

Working with the quality department to implement stringent quality control procedures throughout manufacturing.

Maintaining accurate records of orders, invoices, production reports, and shipment details.

Addressing and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during the production process (e.g., quality concerns, delivery delays).

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree (S1) in any field.
• Min. 5 years experience as a Merchandiser in a Garment Manufacturing.
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written).
• Have a deep understanding of garment construction, materials, and the entire manufacturing process.
• Computer proficiency especially with Microsoft Office and industry-specific software for order tracking and inventory management.
• Willing to be placed in Bandung (WFO).
