Cranleigh School requires, from September 2025, an experienced, dedicated, and confident registered RGN or RN Child to join our existing team of school nurses who provide quality nursing care in our School Medical Centre.
This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week for 36 weeks a year (term time), on a shift rota system. Experience working in a similar environment would be an advantage, or having practice nurse skills / A & E experience.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children, be friendly, approachable, and able to communicate effectively; utterly discrete and capable of maintaining confidentiality; and a team player who can work harmoniously with others.
This is a rewarding position for a compassionate, dedicated person wishing to be an integral part of a caring medical department within a thriving school.
Candidates are requested to submit a brief letter of application, along with a completed application form (available on the website) supported by a full CV, as soon as possible and no later than 9:00 am on Friday, 15th August 2025. Applications are considered as received, and the vacancy may close sooner than advertised. Only applications submitted via the School’s Application Form (through the website) will be considered.
Cranleigh School recognises the positive value of diversity, promotes equality, and challenges discrimination. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post holder will be subject to a DBS check.
